Welcome! So tell me. Do you ever play chess on Yahoo? Me too! Do you ever email yourself the history of a game that you've finished? Me too! Have you ever just WISHED that there was a cool program that would graphically show you your saved games? Me too! In fact, I wanted one SO badly that I actually made my own! And I'm more than willing to share with you. Follow these instructions.
- Download
THE program (Chess.exe) v 1.0.6
- Save your game histories into separate text files (*.txt) and put
them in the SAME folder as the Chess.exe program. If you want,
you can download some of my games here: chessAdam1b.txt,
chessAdam2b.txt, chessAdam3b.txt.
- Once you have Chess.exe and any saved games you wanna see in the SAME
folder, run Chess.exe. You should see the games listed in the
box on the right. Simply right click to "import" them.
The rest is pretty self explanatory. "Next Move" shows
the next move. "Previous Move" shows the previous move.
"Flip board" flips the board. "Reset" starts
the current game over.
- If you have any trouble with any of this, email
me and I'll give it my all ta get you on you goin.
P.S. My ultra cool Yahoo! Chess Game Displayer does not currently support en passant. It might later but right now it doesn't. Sorry yo.
