It's May. The school year is almost over, and I'm excited about this summer. It's been a great school year, but as always I'm excited to see what's next :)

I bought some exciting new toys/gear recently! I bought a 60 meter 10.2 mm Bluewater climbing rope, which I love. I also bought 12 Mad Rock ultra light quickdraws to go with it. To top it off I got a couple extra carabiners for miscellaneous use and a daisy chain for use when cleaning routes. I'm really hoping to get out to the OBED more often and improve my climbing skills in the coming months. I went last weekend with Jerm, Em Ro, Scott, Pauline, and Jesse; I had a great time. I led a few routes--one of which I had never climbed before--and to top it off the weather was a perfect 70 degrees.

Aside from all the sweet climbing gear I bought, I also picked myself up a brand new Canon Rebel T2i Digital SLR! I absolutely LOVE it! It's such a great camera. It's my first SLR and I'm still learning how to take good pictures (and video) with it. I took it climbing with me last Saturday and got some good shots.

Tonight I'm going to go see Glitch Mob at the Valarium for free! I'm excited to see a show. I feel like it's been a while. Hopefully that will be fun.

Graduation for my seniors is this Sunday. I can't believe it's over. Just 7 more days with the rest of the kids and then the year is really over.
